Spring Tech Day 2002May 18, 2002: Our 2002 Spring Tech Day will be held in conjunction with the Chicago Club, The DeLorean Midwest Connection. Don Steger of the DeLorean Motor Center will be flying in as he has in past years. The event will be held at the Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville, Illinois near Chicago from 9am to 5pm on May 18th. This school has a really nice auto shop with lifts available. There are fees associated with this event to cover costs and insurance. To attend the event as a "social" get together - no work to be performed on your car - $15 event fee. If you want to do work on your car either by yourself or with the help of
others, an additional $25 club membership fee is required to cover the cost of
club insurance for the event (this is a DeLorean Midwest Connection club event
and in order for attendants to be covered by club insurance they must be a
member of the DeLorean Midwest Connection) - and of course you get all the other
great stuff that comes with club membership. If you want to have Don Steger help you, or work on your car it will be the $40 fee plus $30 per hour for Don's time. ALL work on cars MUST be scheduled through Dave Swingle prior to the event. There is a limited amount of space and time to work with and time slots are assigned on a first come, first served basis. Neuqua Valley High School is on 95th St. in Naperville just East of Route 59, on Saturday May 18 from 9-5. Marty has arranged for a hotel for this:
