DeLorean Related Downloads

This is a new section that I hope will grow over time. I plan to have DMC related downloads, such as fonts, pictures, PDF files of some factory documentation, etc.

The first item is a DMC font. There actually are a couple of versions floating around, although they aren't very easy to find. 

The first one is the font I used in the design of our masthead and the menus at the left. The original font is a freeware design from Larabie Fonts. I've modified it slightly, and with permission of the owner of Larabie Fonts, I'm offering it on our page. Download instructions: In Windows, right mouse click here for the font, and select Save As, or Save Target As, then save it to your Windows Font directory. This is usually C:\WINDOWS\FONTS. This is a TrueType font designed for Windows. The Apple Macintosh can use TrueType fonts, but I don't know if the format is the same, and I don't have the procedures for installing fonts onto a Mac at this time.

I just got the second version of the font. It seems to look a lot better in large sizes, but I haven't fully tested it yet. Spacing seems a bit better also. Download instructions are identical to the one above, except that you need to right mouse click here.

I just finished modifying the Adobe Acrobat file of the Window Sticker that is on the DMC-News web site. It was created by James Espey when he was running the DML and the DMC-News. It's a great document, but I always hated the idea of using a typewriter to fill it in. I met James this past September at an event in Chicago, and he gave me permission to play around with this. Since Adobe Acrobat has forms capability, I added in all the fields needed to fill this in. The type size isn't perfect as it varies by the type of printer you use, as well as the resize to 8.5" x 11" paper from the marginally larger size that was used by the factory. Anyway, here is the modified Window Sticker PDF file. If you get a blank page after clicking on the window sticker link, then you will need to download the file to your local drive before working with it. Some browsers have this problem with PDF files that contain forms.
Download instructions: In Windows, right mouse click on the link above, and select Save As, or Save Target As, then save it to your local drive. After the file has downloaded, open Windows Explorer, locate the file and double-click on it.
